In order to look into the opportunities related to the newspace industry, Numana has set up a committee which will first study the opportunities to use data from satellites as a vector for economic development and innovation

“With its recognized talents in information technology, particularly in artificial intelligence, Quebec has a solid foundation to take advantage of new business opportunities, related to the NewSpace economy” – said François Borrelli, President and CEO of Numana.

The Newspace committee is made up of representatives of SMEs, large companies as well as the public and university sectors. Through several discussion tables, the committee will develop a report that will be published in the coming weeks in order to propose actions that promote Quebec’s competitive positioning in this innovative economic sector.
