Mission
Created on Numana’s initiative in 2019, the think tank grew out of an innovation working group designed to boost technology’s transformational impact on the city’s strategic markets, such as health care, mobility, and retail tech.
The think tank’s vision can be summed up as follows:
- Conduct social and economic impact studies to help the ICT ecosystem stakeholders assess emerging technologies and integrate them into their new business models
- Help public bodies put policies and mechanisms in place to optimize socio-economic benefits
- Work toward technology adoption in the ecosystem to stimulate our economy’s digital transformation
Its actions will include: impact studies of emerging technologies, projects to innovate through the identified technologies and to mobilize the ecosystem of technology companies, and expert workshops to support the studies conducted.

The think tank is also back this year with its annual event that will take place on June 16, 2022, under the theme ‘Emerging technologies for tomorrow’s Quebec’.
