Fifth and last webinar of 2020 in our serie on quantum technologies, Olivier Landon-Cardinal, PhD and teacher at ÉTS will talk to you about quantum computing:

In 2019, the world of quantum computing was overturned: Google announced they reached quantum supremacy!

This spectacular result received much media attention, but what does it tell us about the state of the art in quantum calculus? In this presentation, I will focus on the performances of quantum algorithms as well as the limitation of current quantum processors.

I will conclude with an overview of the potential applications of quantum calculus and currently available tools for quantum programming.
