With a shortage of technology talent at the highest level in Quebec, TechnoMontréal will be hosting breakfast & discussion session in partnership with Immigration Canada to present to recruiters and decision-makers of technology companies, the programs that facilitate the international recruitment.
The purpose of this presentation is to present the economic immigration programs of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) in order to support the technology industry in Montreal in the recruitment and hiring of highly qualified foreign workers. The various programs and options aimed at hiring foreign labor will be presented to you with an emphasis on certain LMIA exemptions that may affect the high-tech industry as well as certain initiatives implemented by the government, namely the of global skills.
The session will be followed by a 30 minute Q&A period.
