Fourth event of our webinar serie on quantum technologies, Michael Hilke, professor at the physics department of McGill University will tell you about the basics of applying quantum theories to technologies.

After a short review of basic physical principles to understand modern quantum technologies, this presentation will explore various quantum technologies and their applications. We will mainly focus on technologies linked to quantum telecommunication, quantum calculus, quantum sensors and metrology, while giving examples of the latest quantum technologies.
