Projet Numana

Humanitek

More than a simple annual event, Humanitek is our opportunity to break down the silos in our ecosystems in order to inspire a culture of technological anticipation in Quebec.

Fond Humanitek

Why did Numana select this project?

One of humanity’s major blind spots is its difficulty in seeing things exponentially. The changes brought about by the emergence of new technologies or new technological uses are rapid and often create major disruptions. In 2019, Numana decided to focus its attention on ways to better prepare its ecosystem for these transformations.

We therefore launched an event dedicated to looking ahead, to what already exists in the corners of innovative minds, and to popularising it in Quebec.

Project objectives

  • Inspiring a culture of technological anticipation

The key to adapting our organisations and society to future changes is not to predict the future accurately, but to get used to imagining its ramifications and possibilities in order to prepare for it.

  • Strengthening Quebec's resilience

We must break down silos and encourage collective and interdisciplinary thinking in order to enable effective and flexible anticipation.

  • Promoting and better understanding emerging technologies and disruptive models

At the heart of Numana's mission, the emergence of new technologies and new models is sometimes complex, so we aim to make them more accessible.
